Visit to Cyprus of the Schengen Committee of the Italian Parliament (12-13 November 2009)

On 12 and 13 November 2009, a Delegation of the Schengen Committee of the Italian Parliament visited Cyprus.

The Delegation was headed by the President of the Schengen Committee, Mrs. Margherita Boniver, and included other Members of Parliament, officials and journalists.

The Delegation had meetings with the President of the Parliament, Marios Garoyian, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Neoklis Sylikiotis, with Members of the Parliamentary Committee on Internal Affairs, and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Nicholas Emiliou.

The Delegation wisited also the Immigration center of Kofinou.
